Emma found clay when she felt lost in her career in her twenties and reminisced over the creative hobbies she once had. She practiced in studios across London and Paris, always led by the simple question - what can become of this ball of mud?
As her love for making grew, Emma founded S Z.CERAMICS in 2020. Today, she remains inspired by shape and form. She enjoys starting on the wheel before manipulating her work by hand, to create kinks and waves. Emma likes to make work for a purpose—be it as functional as a cup, or as niche as a ceramic wreath.
