METTE CERAMICS

Mette Ceramics was founded by Rendl Mette in 2020. Based in East London, Mette Ceramics specialises in functional, design-forward objects for the home.

Mette began her journey with ceramics almost a decade ago in Betty Woodman's home studio in Boulder, Colorado. She moved to London in 2019 after serving as a foundational board member at Studio Arts Boulder's Pottery Lab for over five years. She uses her background in contemporary art, entrepreneurship, and interior design to create unique pieces for everyday use.

Mette's creative direction is inspired by her native rocky coast in Central California, the mountains of Colorado, and her Danish heritage.
