HANNAH STACEY

My name’s Hannah and I’m a ceramicist based in East London.

By day I’m a product marketer at a tech company. I discovered the wonders of clay about 3 years ago and have spent most of my free time in the pottery studio ever since. When your world revolves around online things that you can’t touch, I’ve found the process of creating objects that I can experience in real life has been really transformative.

I’d say my style keeps it simple with clean lines and a natural colour palette. I’m really inspired by 1950s architecture and geometric structures, and try to explore this in my work as much as possible.

My work ranges from wheel-thrown functional-ware to more decorative and hand-built pieces.
